Most people have two email accounts (well most people I know) one for the important emails, and one for spam. Thanks to the SOC118 mailing list my important account has been constantly filled with "look at me" emails. That being said, I am pretty annoyed at these emails and will just delete them. I did this with all of the emails Edwards sent yesterday - and I was pretty not impressed with Camp Edwards.
But after the press conference today I'm going to say I change my mind. Edwards was well spoken and overall came off very professional.
It was brought up after the press conference that it was surprising that there was little dialog about the Obama/Hillary feud. And I am glad that this was not brought up much. We need to push the feud behind us and focus on the issues. So it looks like we have moved on beyond the tabloid drama.

I wish the news media would try and moderate the questions better. I mean, you guys do a great job, and I like your coverage the best, but it seems that not all of the news orgs are ready to ask several questions, and they allow candidates to ramble on forever, in what seems like a deliberate effort to kill time! I feel that reporters should only allow about a minute or two for a response, so that more questions are being asked, rather than allowing candidates to ramble on and on and on, last time, Edwards was putting the whole class to sleep! He went on for like TEN minutes on ONE question.
Anyone can look professional when they are giving out monologues that drown out the whole room on and on and on and on and on and on and on.
All I am saying is that the press conference is only 30 minutes, at 1 to 2 minutes a pop, we could get 20+ descent reponses from different candidates. Instead, Edwards is allowed to ramble on for 20 minutes, and the rest of the candidates get to answer two or three questions. And no offense to Edwards, but I think that the class was more interested in hearing from Hillary and Barack, but did not get a chance to.
